Review for Walgett Motel

I had a wonderful 1-night stay at Walgett Motel! the venue met all my expectations, and nothing was too much trouble. My room was exceptionally clean and came with helpful amenities like an iron/ironing board, a coffee/tea maker, and a work desk. the location is fantastic, just next door to the city center and supermarket, making it very convenient. a great experience!

The hotel met requirements, I would stay here again. I were in a hurry, so stayed here only for 3 nights, even so everything was good. Had particularly good location close to the city centre😃

We booked a twin room that had great facilities. the staff were friendly and efficient, just as we hoped. 😊.

Our single room was warm and comfortable, with convenient amenities like a microwave oven, electric kettle, and fridge. the staff were very helpful and friendly, making our stay enjoyable. the location was excellent, close to the supermarket, and we had some delightful treats at Dce Cafe, just a few steps away from the hotel.

I highly recommend Walgett Motel and would definitely come back. the location is fantastic, situated close to the hill, the city centre, and various shops. it was only a 10-minute walk to Memorial Park, which was wonderful. the staff were fantastic—efficient and helpful, offering great guidance throughout my stay.

The motel we stayed at during Easter had a great location just a short walk away from the local sports club and some stunning artesian bore baths. the staff were friendly and made checking in and out an easy process.

We did notice a few issues during our visit. the cleanliness of the microwave left a lot to be desired, and we had to spend some time cleaning it before using it.

The location is ideal, as it is close to the city center and within walking distance of shops and a supermarket. The staff provides excellent service and the basic amenities are well-maintained. The breakfast options are satisfying, with something for everyone's taste. Plus, the hotel takes care of guests' needs without even having to ask.

One minor aspect could be further improved upon.

The location was very convenient for our Christmas plans. The room had a secure facility with a gated entrance that guests could access with keys for safety purposes. Additionally, the shower facilities were great with clean bathroom and rooms. Also, the fact that there was a microwave in the room proved quite useful.

The bathroom facilities were a letdown as they appeared not to have been cleaned from previous occupants. This was evidenced by used soap in the shower, a severely cracked toilet, and a broken soap holder that was quite dangerous. Further, the curtains offered no privacy since they did not cover the windows correctly, and there were no cutlery or teaspoons in the room.

Clean and secure hotel with friendly staff. Good shower, comfortable bed, and practical facilities. Easy access to local attractions and dining options.

This motel offered a comfortable and practical place to stay. the staff was friendly and effective, even replacing our TV when it wasn't working. We appreciated the secure facility with locked gates at night. the heating and good shower were great bonuses.

Some areas were lacking attention to detail and cleanliness, with broken carpets, dirty towels, and a stuffy room due to air conditioning issues.

I recently stayed at a hotel near the city center and I was pleasantly surprised by the value for money. The prices were affordable and the attention to detail was impressive.
